I sure miss the surviving WAO cougars. I remember how the cougars used to lay under the trees while I drenched the oaks with water and watched it fall on the cougars as they relaxed in the cooling "rain." There was one cougar in particular that actually liked it when I poured water from the hose onto his body, from his neck down to his tail. He was the only cougar that actually looked forward to his summer bathe/spray. Just goes to show, with a little patience, just about any cat can learn to enjoy a summer "shower."

Who's hungry? Our mountain lions have such a large enclosure that they are often out of sight for much of the day. But the one exception is meal time. Here is some video of them eating together at the front of their living area.
