Cow Patty Fertilizer

I learned last week IFAW, GFAS, and Cryer met twice in February to discuss the WAO's progress in meeting the demands of the bankruptcy court, here in San Antonio. Then I learned from court records the OAG also attended these meetings. Lo and behold, I found this posting on Facebook.com talking about the meeting..

Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS)

Just back from meeting with the Attorney General's office in Texas...working on a plan to save the remaining animals at Wild Animal Orphanage, as the sanctuary is now in bankruptcy court. AG's office very compassionate about the animals, great meeting!

What a load of crap. "AG's office very compassionate about the animals?" Oh really?? Since when?? The attorney assigned to the case, Mr. James Anthony, couldn't have been bothered with saving the WAO from 2006-2010. After all, it was just an "animal case" and he had other more important cases to prosecute; he couldn't be bothered with all my pleas (not to mention a ton of evidence sent to him) to save the animals. AND if that wasn't bad enough, the OAG hasn't even filed criminal charges against the WAO board of directors!

Where's the "compassion?"  More to the point, where is the JUSTICE for all the animals, many whom lost their lives waiting for some "compassionate" soul from the OAG or USDA to save them, is going to be delivered on their behalf?

Yep, a whole lot of cow patties fertilizing this case.  Way to go Global Federation.  Glad to read you are so happy with the Texas OAG.

Me?  I'm appalled and extremely disappointed by all the people who failed the animals from day one.
