A Proposal to Save the WAO Animals

For the last several weeks, Vicky (In-Sync Exotics) and I have been discussing the plight of the WAO animals.  Based on all the court records, I have a feeling time is running out for the 25 tigers, 100+macaques and four wolf dogs.

Vicky, wanting to save the animals, contacted GFAS and the Texas OAG to let them know In-Sync Exotics was willing to assume receivership of the animals and the WAO's remaining assets.  This was done prior to taking in Sabu.

For weeks, there was no news of In-Sync's proposal until last week (June 2nd)!

GFAS' Patty Finch called In-Sync Exotics to let Vicky know that GFAS would like for Vicky to submit an "expectations" letter (essentially detailing what In-Sync would need to make the receivership work).  Apparently the OAG wants to have an agreement in place before the end of the month.

Well, the "expectation" letter was sent and now we wait to see what GFAS and the Texas OAG says about this proposed plan.  I truly pray this works out for I am hearing through the grapevine that many of the WAO tigers are thin and the hot weather is taking its toll on all the animals.  I believe many of the older tigers will probably have Vitamin A deficiency as well.

Something must be done very soon to save the animals!  I pray the OAG attorney, James Anthony, does not mess this up for the WAO animals.
