Thanks most of all to Tammy Quist at The Wildcat Sanctuary who was instrumental in making so many of our rescues possible ... she goes above and beyond to make sure EVERY animal in need gets help, not just those going to her sanctuary ... thanks Tammy you are the BEST !

Wild Animal Repo

Wild Animal Repo

This show seemed to be all about recklessly chasing animals around not about the horrible lives the animals had led nor the sanctuaries that would be giving them refuge. Would the public prefer a format that doesn't traumatize the animals, even if it isn't as exciting? May 10, 2011

JoLee Lewis Bair I would, but I doubt the network would agree . Sadly, ratings come first :May 10, 2011 :(

Steve Titterton Those animals were traumatized because the people who were moving them had no other way to do so safely. They were not moving kittens, and the tiger who woke up after being caged demonstrated the difference. If you don't show what really happens to these animals, it won't change the way they must be handled. Keep showing it and perhaps people will understand that we shouldn't be treating them like that.

Benjamin Bayliss

Benjamin Bayliss ‎@Steve: Bull. They DIDN'T show what really happened to the animals. NO MENTION was made that 2 of the tigers had been previously "rescued" by Scott and his team 3 years before AND IT WAS THEIR DECISION TO PUT THEM IN THIS HORRIBLE FACILIT...Y. The techniques used were poorly thought out. Also, on the capuchin segment, if they were so worried about the "former owners" disrupting the plan, why the hell did they wait until the next day to try again?!?! Yeah, I am THOROUGHLY unimpressed with this crap.

Karin Hargrave Saucedo Would be great if there was more follow up on the rescued animals to show the amazing transformation from being neglected & abused to being at a place where their needs come first. More highlight on the sanctuaries would be great to show all the hard work that goes into caring for these animals. Those sanctuaries who rely on donations would benefit from the publicity. Tia Barry Wind Hm, maybe if Scott gave the animals hugs and kisses they would respond back to him in the same manner. Really, Bayliss? Scott is Animal Planet's Hero of the Year 2009 for a reason. Sounds like you've got a bee in your bonnet. There were... plenty of scenes documenting the terrible living conditions of these animals. Also documentation of their new living conditions. If you don't like it, don't watch. But Scott proved that he's a pro at what he does and surrounds himself with other professionals. WE LOVE YOU, SCOTT!! Keep up the good work!  May 10, 2011

Erika Stohlberg Im with Tia. You dont like it, dont watch it. The show has a lot of fans to get it going for a reason. Scott is awesome and i think its about time some is doing what he is. He has my vote completely. :) May 10, 2011

Stacey Fetterman I liked the show the way it is. Maybe in a future show go back to the beginning and give an update on all the animals that have been rescued to show the viewers that the sanctuaries the animals are in are great and treating them the way they need to be treated so this doesn't happen again. May 10, 2011

Emily Taylor Yunker I think a bit of both is good. Realizing these animals aren't cute fuzzy pets should be part of the message. May 10, 2011

Deborah Justice Cutrell Scott was Animal Planet's "hero" of the year because BCR did a HUGE campaign to get him votes. Pure and simple. They did not tell the story of how he choked a tiger to death... no... I didn't think so. He was ONLY AN ACTOR in this show. He had NOTHING to do with REPOing these animals. It was all done in the name of theatrics. Shame on you Scott Lope. Shame on you for being a fame monger. How dare you. Really. May 10, 2011

Deborah Justice Cutrell And... there are people in this country that know the truth about what really happened with these animals. The truth will come out and Discovery Chanel will have NO choice than to take this show off the air or start telling the truth. The truth always shows itself. I have no doubt that the truth will come to light on this farce of a show very soon. May 10, 2011

Tia Barry Wind Well, you can't argue with idiots, so I'll just go on supporting Scott with my viewership:) Perhaps we can use some of these ding dongs as bait....hmmm, that might be a good show;) May 10, 2011

Deborah Justice Cutrell Perhaps you can educate yourself on what the truth is behind the scenes?  May 10, 2011

Deborah Justice Cutrell Or, you can keep following this idiot like so many other lemmings. May 10, 2011

Deborah Justice Cutrell And... BTW... LOVE the theme song! WAR...what is it good for? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! say it again! WAR...what is it good for? Absolutely nothing! ha ha ha! Wonder if they listened to the words before they picked that as their theme song? lol May 10, 2011

God Bless yo May 5, 2010

Present Day:  As I reread these comments, all the anger I felt on the day as I watched the WAR show came flooding back.  Visions of the bears being harassed at night by Lope and crew.  Visions of Pat Craig kicking one of the WAO bears into the transporter.   Vision of Lope acting like a fool in the capuchin cage.  And so forth.  Thank God Lope is no longer on television.  WAR was a horrible show and I will never forget how the WAO animals were used in such a disgraceful manner, all in the name of profit.  Discovery should be ashamed for airing this garbage in the first place.
