WAO Request Extension From Bankruptcy Court

Well, to my sheer shock and amazement, the Cryers were not able to complete the WAO's financial statements on time!  So, the bankruptcy attorney representing the WAO, filed for an extension (as if that will really help) and the motion was approved.  Below is the motion:

Meanwhile, Cryer is already packing her suitcases to leave on a "fun" trip to Washington DC (as per her Facebook page):

Michelle Anthony-Cryer Just got my suitcase out. Flying to D.C. On Thursday with Chriz for Ranee b-day-what to wear and what to pack .. I'm super excited

So, instead of working on the financial reports, this box of rocks is heading off to DC to party. Figures.

Michelle Anthony-Cryer Breakfast

If you are drinking alcohol for breakfast, then you have a serious drinking problem...Just what the WAO needs -- another person running the place with a drinking problem.

In any case, if you are not familiar with what a 341 meeting is, here is a brief description:

Section 341 meetings are usually short and perfunctory, lasting not much more than five minutes each. Proceedings have a simple theme: debtors state what they own and owe (revealed on Schedules I and J, listing income and expenses) and discuss the factors that drove them to file bankruptcy -- illness, divorce, job loss or sheer financial mismanagement. These discussions are often an emotional admission of failure, which makes Section 341 meetings a grueling experience for anyone who attends.
In a Chapter 11 reorganization, the U.S. Trustee ensures that the debtor understands the reporting, insurance and banking requirements.
As for debtors, it is still important to attend the meeting even if creditors are not there or do not raise objections. Debtors should be prepared to answer questions about their filings, and to ask questions about anything they do not understand. A bankruptcy filing can free a debtor from crushing debt. For such relief, answering a few questions is a small price to pay.
