Warning: The following report is very detailed and disturbing. Poor Jethro suffered for a very long time. I am simply amazed at how long he lived with all his internal organ damage. Jethro truly hung on for a very long time, despite how sick he really was, only able to enjoy a loving environment for just a few short months before he passed away. Jethro will not be forgotten.
I just pray the USDA and OAG take note that if they had gone in much sooner, many more of the WAO animals may still be alive today.
Jethro's Necropsy Report
Every time I re-read this report, I cannot help but become emotional. Jethro and all the other animals that within the last several years deserved so much better.
I cannot help but become angry at the WAO Board of Directors, the Asvestas, the animal care staff that lied to investigators, the USDA and OAG for not doing their jobs--protecting the animals and the general public. So much loss of life, and for what, money? Power? Prestige? Shame on ALL of them.
Thank you Jesus for taking Jethro to Heaven. At least now he is living pain-free and in a perfect body.
